This formulation was inherited over generations and is now made commercial with the help of modern manufacturing process .
The key ingredient of the Swasaraksha is Vaasa(Justicia adhatoda L). It is the choice of drug for respiratory diseases in ayurveda.
Vaasa act as an expectorant and loosens phlegm from respiratory passage. It clears the respiratory passage of any excess mucus production and makes it easier to breathe.
HerbsUp Swasaraksha helps in all kinds of cough - Dry Cough, Productive Cough and helps in expectoration of phlegm, management of asthma & bronchitis, . It helps in respiratory wellness, thinning bronchial secretions and improving sluggish lungs.
Other Ingredients:
- Lavanga : Clove helps in relief from cough and relieves irritation due sore throat.
- Maricha : Black pepper acts as cough expectorant and used in relief from chronic cough, sinusitis .
- Triphala: It is the combination of three ingredients “Haritaki, Bibhitaki and Amalaki” . In Ayurveda, it is known as a therapeutic agent that balances all three doshas - Kapha, Vata and Pitta. It is a rich source of antioxidants such as vitamin C and due to its rejuvenating(Rasayana) property, it helps in developing immunity in the body to fight day to day health issues & infections.
