Ayush Kwath - Ingredients, What is it and Why do we need it?

With Covid-19 , The Government of India and the ministry of Ayush found that people without immunity are more susceptible to the disease. The response from the ministry of Ayush was to suggest an immunity booster herbal tea that everyone could make easily at the home. This is based on household ingredients, that everyone has at their homes.

This herbal tea is named as Ayush Kwath by Ministry of Ayush. The core formulation proposed by the ministry contains Tulsi leaves, Cinnamon bark, dry ginger rhizome and black pepper seeds powder. All these are mixed and powdered and it was suggested that consumers should take 3 grams of herbal powder, boil it in a cup of water strain it and then have it. They also suggested consumers could add some jaggery , raisins and lemon to the herbal tea for a better taste.
